Este marco histórico se destaca como um dos mais belos edifícios em Art Déco não apenas da Califórnia mas do país. Projetado em 1931 por Timothy L. Pflueger, famoso arquiteto de San Francisco, o Paramount reúne obras de importantes muralistas, escultores e pintores. Após seu apogeu inicial, o teatro passou por um longo período de abandono, antes de ser restaurado e recuperar seu esplendor dourado original.
