✓ Raiden (Japanese; 雷電), real name Jack, is the deuteragonist of the Metal Gear series, appearing as the main protagonist of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and a major character in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. He is a Liberian-American special forces soldier and a Counter-Terrorist responsible for resolving the 2009 Big Shell Incident as a new recruit to the reformed FOXHOUND unit. A former child soldier under Solidus Snake, Raiden has been se
